We were contacted by someone from one of the rural shelters in our area that had sweet Sam but not the resources to help him. Both of his back legs were paralyzed. We weren't sure if he was going to be able to be saved. We quickly discovered that could potty on his own which gave us great optimism for his future. We watched him closely and it became clear that he was starting to use his back legs a little bit. He continued to improve every day and now he is well and can walk! During his recovery, we quickly realized that he needed his brother so we brought him into the program as well so he would have a buddy. So, that great success means it is time for Sam and Dave to find a loving forever home of their very own. The will need to go together. They are a bonded pair.
