Her first story was amusing... unfortunately, a year later, her second one, not as much. Unfortunately, her adopter suffered the wrath of 2020 quite badly and was unable to keep Peri or her other kitty for that matter. Sadly, she has had to move in with family who would not allow her to bring her beloved furry family members. It seems hardcore to us, but we don't know the details and are trying hard to focus on what we can do to help, which is to try again to find Periwinkle a new family. Once a FLUFF kitty, always a FLUFF kitty! We also took her non-FLUFF friend (they weren't that tight) but she already found a forever home with one of our previous adopters.
Previous Story
This is a bit of a funny story! We got a call from a sister (dog) rescuer who had been contacted by someone who had found a "Himalayan" that needed help. She was bringing the kitty to her to check for a chip. The rescuer contacted us because we love us some smooshy-faced kitties. A few minutes later, we got a picture of this sweet girl and a note saying false alarm! LOL! We were happy to still be able to help this lovely non-Himmie but precious Siamese girl! She definitely needed help. She is a little older (guessing around 10 yrs) and was starving and very skinny. We gave her the full workup and she is very healthy, she just needed some love, care, and groceries! She is doing fabulously in her foster home. She is calm, quiet, loving and affectionate and a GREAT cuddly sleeper!
So, if you would like to have some good luvin' in your life, this is your girl! All you need to do is complete our application at www.FLUFFNashville.org.*
*Helpful Hint: you are welcome to submit inquiries first, however, if you are really interested, we strongly recommend that you go ahead and submit an application because others are and this kitty may be gone by the time we get your inquiries answered.
