This is one very special determined girl indeed! She was on the list for kitties in need of rescue placement from our local shelter due to a suspected congenital heart defect. This was right up our alley and we were happy to be able to help. Their suspicions were correct. This little angel was born with a PDA which means the blood vessel that should have closed off within a couple of days after birth allowing blood to flow properly through her heart and to her now actively used lungs did not close off. This resulted in her heart having to work much harder than it should have, her lungs were not getting enough blood and so she was not able to breathe easily. This would have resulted in heart failure. Fortunately, thanks to the generosity of FLUFF's supporters, we were able to get her the necessary surgery to repair this defect and she is now a perfectly healthy, happy, and delightful little girl who is ready to find a loving forever home of her very own! She is sweet, sometimes a little shy, but loving and has been through so much in her short little life that it is time to coast from here on out.
