This sweet boy came to us from a shelter in south FL. We were surprised when they reached out to us, but he had a heart murmur and their policy is that they couldn't adopt him out and didn't have the resources to do the necessary diagnostics. So, even though we mentioned that we are nowhere near S. FL, they still trusted us to help if transport could be arranged. Apparently, it was meant to be because they had the ability to get him to Jacksonville where one of our foster's mom lived and she was coming to Nashville for Christmas! It was kismet! Everyone who has met him has fallen in love and that includes the vets who did his echocardiogram that discovered that his heart is just fine!! Yippee!! He is the sweetest boy with the typical Maine Coon personality and size. Yes, he is the real thing. He is about seven years young and is now ready for a loving forever home.
