Maine Coon / Domestic Medium Hair / Mixed (medium coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Baby : : Medium
This precious boy came to us from out in the big bad world when he was just an itty bitty, way too small to survive on his own. He was, as we say, behind the curve. We had what we were affectionately calling our KICU (Kitten ICU) going at the time and that is exactly what he needed. We (and his vet) think he is seeing impaired. We know it seems odd not to be sure, but it's not like we can just hold up a poster and ask him to read the clearest line. He does seem to respond to some light changes but doesn't respond to other things like a fully sighted kitten would. He is very sweet and loving! Once he gets the lay of the land of his new home, you probably won't even know that he has any issues, as long as you are not one of these people who likes to rearrange the furniture very often. He might not appreciate that. Keep things stable and in place in his world and he will be happy as a clam. Cats actually use many of their other senses much more than sight anyway.
