This precious six-year-old girl was saved by the compassionate folks a wonderful local vet clinic along with her sister Twinkle. Sadly, Twinkle was very very sick and despite extraordinary efforts, she did not make it, but Star is wonderfully healthy and sweet. Their story is a sad one. Their loving person was put into care and the cats were left behind for an unknown amount of time with just the occasional person checking in on them. Their person subsequently passed away and the occasional caregiver took them to the vet to be euthanized. The vet refused and convinced the person to sign them over to them. They then contacted us and were so happy to be able to help. They were matted beyond compare. Those who know us know that for us to shave a longhaired cat, it MUST be bad. She is cozy warm in her new sweater and her luxurious coat will grow back before you know it. She is a little shy because of her trauma, but you can tell she was once loved very much because she is coming around to her foster mom very quickly. She is sweet, loving, affectionate, and strangely enough rather addicted to Murder She Wrote (who knew Angela Lansbury was such a drawn to cats)! She needs a quiet loving home where she can be pampered and adored for the rest of her life.
