A good Samaritan found Homer living underneath a shed in North Nashville. He was very skittish at first and didn't trust the stranger. He was finally able to get him out from under the shed and take him to the vet. The vet immediately knew what was wrong with his eyes, and estimated the cost for the surgery would be $2000. She gave Homer some medicine and he took him back to the shed, but Homer would not let him put the medicine in his eyes. He hated so much to leave him there but did not know what else to do. The Cat Shoppe told him to take Homer to Animal House. Once he was able to catch Homer again he took him for the surgery and he has been with him at his house since then. Now that he is safe in his foster home we discovered that he is such a good cat. Homer really likes to cuddle and be held and petted. He is a big loving, affectionate guy that would make someone the perfect companion! If you would like to give sweet Homer everything he deserves in life, contact us at FLUFFinfo@gmail.com.
