This stunning boy was found on the side of the road in Chapel Hill, TN by a good Samaritan. She was in town running an errand when she saw him laying on a brick wall on Main Street. She noticed him and was so upset over his condition that she thought if she sees him on her way back she would stop and check on him. On the way back he was sitting right next to the road and she thought he might be suicidal. His eyes were so nasty with conjunctivitis she was sure he had trouble seeing. She pulled over and went into a business to inquire about him. The people there said he had been there at least a week and didn't care a bit about him. She told them she was going to take him and they said "great". He followed her to her car and when she opened the door he was more than ready to get in and leave that place! He laid down in the back seat with her son the whole way home.
When she got him home and got him set up, the poor boy didn't even come up for air as he inhaled the food and drank for quite a while. He was EMACIATED!!! His eyes were bad, he had an uri, ear mites, covered in fleas, and internal parasites. He was a total mess:( He got the medical care needed to get started and then she took him to get a vet exam and combo test. He tested FIV + but was negative for FeLV and had pretty severe anemia from the fleas. After getting all the care and love he needed, he is finally healthy and happy and ready to find his forever home!
This cat is so sweet, precious, and beautiful!! His foster wanted to keep him so desperately, but unfortunately, he doesn't like other male cats. He is perfect with her two dogs and will even lay on their bed with them. He doesn't go after the female cat, but she is the Queen here and doesn't take anything from anyone and he probably knows this lol!
He was great getting a bath, loves to be brushed, and will follow his foster all around the house. He is truly special.
