Asher is affectionately known as our broken kitten (you'll see why). A local shelter reached out about an itty bitty who had been hit by a car on the weekend and we rushed to get him. We took him straight to the ER to get stable and then nursed him through the weekend until our vet could see him first thing Monday morning. He had a broken femur, broken humerus, broken hip, broken pelvis, and broken jaw. He quickly went to surgery to pin the two bones that could be pinned and the hope was the other non-surgical bones would heal naturally. Well, we gotta tell ya, this boy was bound and determined to be a part of this world because with the love and care from his foster mom, he recovered marvelously and at warp speed! It got to be difficult to keep him some what still while he was still technically on bed rest. We were all thrilled (him most of all) when he was given the thumbs up to be a full blown kitten! He went to be with Hannah because he needed a friend after so many weeks of isolation and they have been besties ever since. So, now it's time to complete the story and find him the most wonderful forever home imagineable! We love him SO much and we are so lucky to have him. He is such a bundle of joy and makes our days so much better. Everything is going great with him and we love him so much!
