This precious one-year-old boy came to us through some sad circumstances. His mother who loves him very very much has had some devastating medical challenges as a result of her battle with cancer. Unfortunately, her Dr. gave her no choice but to re-home him in order to be able to survive it. This had to be such a difficult and cruel decision to have to make when you need the comfort of your companion more than ever. It is easy to say, "I would never..." but trust us when we say that this situation was significant and deserving of compassion rather than judgment. We promised his mom that we would do everything within our power to find him the most wonderful loving forever home we possibly could. Riley is a very sweet boy, but as we all know, kitties find change one of the most challenging things they can face and so he is feeling a little shy right now. We are confident that once he lands safely in his new home with a loving calm quiet family, his full personality will blossom and he will relax. Regardless, he is fabulous and deserving of all things wonderful in this world.
