This cat is true royalty! And prepare yourself 'cause this one's gonna ruffle your tailfeathers... This most amazing, handsome, calm, respectful, wonderful, sweet, loving, pretty-darn-close-to-perfect 13-year-old purebred Ragdoll cat was surrendered at his vet because... wait for it... his family got... wait for it... a... new.... dog! Yes, you guessed it didn't you! The dog was tormenting the cat who had lived his 13-years peacefully in his home with his family being a fabulous friend and companion only to be rewarded by being taken in for a checkup one day and never brought home again. Now, of course, the good thing about this is that their vet is also our vet and they immediately knew to call us and within hours he was in the most loving foster home imaginable where he is already so adored and doted on that you can't even imagine, but still... we all know how cats like their life today to be exactly the same as it was yesterday. Change is very difficult and stressful, even for the most laid back and sweetest among us. His foster family is doing their very best to make him feel safe and loved and secure, but it is still not home... The other good thing, as we try to make a refreshing glass of lemonade here, is that he is no longer being tormented by a dog (who, let's be honest, was just being a dog). So, let's all put our heads together and find this truly amazing boy the most equally amazing FOREVER family we possibly can and get him settled into starting the rest of his new life as quickly as we can. And we're gonna go out on a limb here and say probably no more dogs for this guy. He may have had his fill for now.
