This precious (~six-month-old) girl was rescued from out in the big bad world with a severe injury to her spine. She wasn't able to really walk on her back legs due to an abscess on her spine that appeared to be caused by a bite. We don't know what happened to her, but it must have been traumatic. We weren't sure if she was going to pull through, but we just couldn't give up on her! After several months of love and care, this sweet girl is doing great! She runs and jumps and plays and is just a lovely kitten. She is rather shy at first and can get startled easily, but once she feels safe and comfortable, she is a sweetheart! Unfortunately, due to the time it took for her to fully recover, she missed her "itty bitty" window that everyone seems to prefer. Please don't let this angle get overlooked just because she's a little bit of an older kitten.
