This spectacular boy was adopted out earlier this year as a baby but had to come back to us. We soon discovered that he had a horrible eye infection that had progressed past the point of treatment and sadly he had to lose the eye. The good thing is that it really doesn't impact him much at all. If anything, he has become a sweeter little boy now that the source of his pain and discomfort has been removed. The other nice thing about long haired kitties is that very soon, once all the hair that had to be shaved around his eye completely grows back, you will hardly be able to notice and he's just look like a big flirt winkin' at everyone! He really is a very sweet boy, but he is a boy and is still a teenager with boy teenager energy. So, it will be important that his new people have the time and willingness to play with him and in ways that help him continue his good manners training (i.e. no roughhousing, no hands).
