Noel 2019

We did keep her name as Noel as my stepson thought it suited her.

He went nuts over her and they are the best of friends. She knows his schedule perfectly and is either waking him up, waiting by the door for the bus, or is doing whatever she can to tell him to get in bed at night. She snuggles with him every night including being passed out on her back with her head on his outstretched arm the other night just like a person.

She’s getting along fabulously with my old man. They play and when he’s done he moves on and she doesn’t pester him. She did figure out his hiding spot in the comfy bed at the top of the cat super highway, but she learned to not join him in the bed. She hasn’t tried again since the first time, so thankfully she’s a fast learner and doesn’t test the waters.

Noel loves my daughter also and even though it was extremely quiet at Kay’s house (of course my aunt called me when we were there and her ringtone is a train whistle thus causing Noel to bolt like a flash of lightning across the room), she has absolutely settled in to life in a busy household. Everything is a toy ~ luckily she did not try getting into the Christmas tree ~ and she will happily play by herself or with any of us until she’s exhausted.

She thoroughly enjoys the cat superhighway and we have the supplies to make the one in my stepson’s room finally. When she’s on mine I’m right there in the event she were to get too crazy so she won’t fall, but she’s gotten large enough that she can start playing by herself on a shorter one for now. I have let her collar out two times just under two inches now.

She’s the funniest thing as you hear her bell way before you ever see her, but she doesn’t run like a normal cat. She hops in the rear like a rabbit.
