About FLUFF

FLUFF is a foster-based animal rescue organization located in the Nashville, TN, and surrounding areas. We primarily rescue orphaned kittens that are too young and need too much care to be in shelters or on the streets as well as kittens and cats in need of medical attention that shelters or other rescues are unable to provide. We are not entirely a breed-specific rescue but we do focus much of our efforts on helping the very large in need Persian/Himalayan/Exotic Shorthair population. Our philosophy is if we can help we will.

Educational efforts

We take every opportunity to educate others on the many individual pet and community benefits of spay/neuter. Our adoptable pets are spayed or neutered before adoption unless there is a medical need for a delay in which case we follow-up and ensure that it is ultimately done. Spay/Neuter surgery is included in the adoption fee. We also check to see if all other pets in adoption applicant households are spayed or neutered and if not, take the opportunity to educate them and even help facilitate the surgery if needed. FLUFF leadership has participated in many spay/neuter clinics and has financially supported the efforts of folks working in TNR in the community.
